There's already a rule that Mr. Boddy can not strike again until at least ONE person is healed.*Windows95 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 07, 2018 6:52 am **** Suggestion: let us take a few guesses FIRST before healing - this gives us a strategical advantage. Boddy is frozen until we heal. ****
I'd rather not have it be "Mr. Boddy can't strike until someone guesses who Mr. Boddy is" - The idea is, I don't want people guessing randomly, "It's the butler because he's a person as seen in the robot picture!"
Because then it's a quick process of elimination. Each person can guess someone else, until Mr. Boddy is revealed.
The idea is - will Mr. Boddy strike every time someone is healed - because in order to do so, they must provide a clue to their MASQ ID.
If the other players help keep people healed up, Mr. Boddy is going to end up providing several clues about their MASQ ID, and potentially unveiling who they are.
I even considered making a rule that you only get ONE guess who Mr. Boddy is (to ensure people are going for a legit guess), and after that can no longer guess BUT can still heal other people.
But since this is the first run of the game, I wanted to see how this would pan out first.
For ease of the game, do see the "Slightly Updated Modified Rules" near the bottom of the original post.
