This may be a reference to the meme about Soviet Russia - as in "In Soviet Russia, [noun] [verb] you" instead of "you [verb] [noun]".

My image is the robot from Forbidden Planet. The director was Fred M. Wilcox. My haiku is a reference to our solar system when Pluto got "demoted". The word "planet" comes from the Greek for "wanderer". "wasn't allowed"="forbidden". In the third clue, the last word of each sentence is the name of a robot/android: Crow (MST3K), Data (TNG), Vision (Marvel), canine (K-9, Doctor Who), Rosie (The Jetsons). Anton Chekhov (who has a different spelling of his last name as Star Trek's Pavel Chekov) is a playwright best known for the dramatic principle of Chekhov's gun ("If in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired. Otherwise don't put it there."). He is, of course, Russian. Also: "rush in" and "Cosmo naught".
