Gabriel Knight Crashes in Opera

Hi there,

i hope you can help me. I´m, playing the german Version of Gabriel Knight 2. I´ve used the GK2ForDOSBox Installer with the uniSCI tool and it worked fine until now. Now I´m in the cellar of the opera, in the storage room and everytime when i want to Change the Screen to the left side, the game crashes to the Desktop. I think there is a Problem with a Video that should be loaded, but I don´t know. I tried several savegames and have the same Problem.

So please help me

Open the dosbox.conf in Notepad and remove the "exit" line at the bottom. You should be able to see any error messages.

It says

Error 105: ResHunk: Attempt to load wrong type

Try removing 64994.SCR and 64994.HEP from the patches folder.

That didn´t help. But I have removed the link to the patches in the Ressource.cfg and now it works.

You will probably have other issues by doing that.
