KQ - The Sierra Crossover Event!

Is the game being a ROYAL pain? Need a hint? Got a problem? This is the place to discuss King's Quest!

KQ - The Sierra Crossover Event!

The Sierra Crossover Event!

If you could do a crossover with KING'S QUEST and any other SIERRA game, which would would it be (and why)?

What about KING'S QUEST and a NON-Sierra game, which would it be (and why)?

I think the obvious choice, for a non Sierra game, would be King's Quest and Kyrandia mixing it up.

Malcolm comes along and teams up with Manahahananaha's distant cousin or whatever.

 Love this idea. Malcolm forms alliances with all the KQ villains and teaches them how to turn everyone to stone.

Since Kyrandia ultimately didn't take itself very seriously, a crossover could also poke fun at the different engine designs. In Kyrandia, you can't walk off every cliff or edge you come to like in KQ5. Have King Graham and Cedric marvel at the magical barriers that prevent one from falling, while Brandon and Zanthia just go falling off cliffs left, right and center. Alexander finally tells Brandon to stop griping about his sore feet and suck it up.

Rosella, meanwhile, is envious of Zanthia's ability to change costumes every level, and insists upon a wardrobe spell for herself.

It's been so long since I've tried that game, I'd forgotten all about that.

OoOoOoooo. Working on that idea - we discover that Malcolm was the true (unrevealed) villain behind Mask of Eternity, and that somehow he had warped space/time and reality. So the characters from Kyrandia and Daventry have to team up and undo what Malcolm has done because it is jeopardizing reality - the end result - Malcolm is defeated and Mask of Eternity is retconned to actually no longer be canon, storywise!

 I've never had the chance to play Kyrandia, and I only played half of KQ4 (I kept getting stuck with the whale's mouth). What is Tamir? Why would Rosella be scared of ogres?

I love the invisible wall that stops Graham from falling.

Tamir is the setting for KQ4. An ogre and ogress are two of the villains she must avoid.

Thanks. I had a lot of fun with that one.

What do you make of Alexander's turn?

Hmm - I don't remember iceberg lettuce in KQ6? :?

This is fun, but the scenery reminds me very much of the inside of the Big Monkey Head in Monkey Island 1:
