need Gold Rush help

At the very beginning of Gold Rush......i can't get out of the house...i'm stuck in the doorway.... i took the photo and the bank statement..have i missed something?

Just walk through the door. No need to type "open door" or anything.

I tried both ways Collector, neither worked. I also tried playing the game using DOSBox and scummvm, same thing happens...i get stuck....actually just outside the door. I also tried uninstalling then re-installing the game...same result.

You can load GoldRush's save game file or one of us can load the game, walk out the door, and upload the save game file...?
