Re: Sierra QA Files.
Wait until 2:45 before he actually turns it on...
This is from 1989? I don't remember computers from back then being so ... tiny.
And at 15:49 it finally starts to work!
An interesting trip back in time, Tawm.

It was - and the fact he got the files off the drive and made them available - link in first post. Though I've tried to run Codename from the disk info he got - and I can't get it to run. So I need to see how he did it.

It was no big deal to get it to run.

I mapped it in DOSBox, went to that path - tried Sierra ... just goes to the next line down with a blinking cursor...

Remember that this came from a Peanut. You have to match machine types between the conf and the CFG.

Re: Sierra QA Files.
Just edited the RESOURCE.CFG to EGA320.DRV and it worked.
It's interesting some of those debug functions...

Collector, this came from a Peanut? I don't understand. Do you mean Jimmy Carter?

I am pretty sure you're kidding - but in the event you're not Peanuts!Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 9:42 pm Collector, this came from a Peanut? I don't understand. Do you mean Jimmy Carter?

Re: Sierra QA Files.
I was, of course, referring to Carter's past as a peanut farmer (before he became POTUS). But I couldn't think of anything else (I was only 7 when the PCjr came out, in 1983).
The name "PCjr" faintly rings a bell, but not really. I was using a Commodore 64 at the time, and continued to use it all through the 80s. (In 1990, I got my first PC).
