I am (back) in the swing of things and should have the next episode this weekend. (I have a project I am doing for my best friend's mother in law - who is like a second mom to me - it's her 75th birthday - and since we can't be there to celebrate it with her - we're having her family and our friends that know her - send me a video so I can make something similar to what I did to surprise Amiee). She has no idea this is all happening.

Happy birthday to your best friend's mother-in-law! I hope it's a good one.

Finished the episode late last night after playing my Sunday D&D game - but figured no one would see it - so I uploaded and posted it now - for maximum viewage! Feel free to share it around!

Will Amiee betray Peter & Grayson for the ample reward? If not, what's their plan now?

"We are not the knights you are looking for!" Aw, and just in time for Star Wars Day, too ...

I love these two guys and their approach to acting. "We APPLAUD their act of COURAGE, and will NOT turn them OVER to the likes of YOU!" "YEAH! For we are the KNIGHTS OF HAM!" Simple, but very funny.

"If they fail ... the world is doomed ..." <echo> "Doomed ... doomed ... doomed ..." Uh-oh. Cut to Peter doing something stupid?

Love the disguises. Same colours, only now they're wearing plate armour. So if they need to escape, Peter's going to be slowed down by his heavy armour.

"Uh, no ... of course not ... that's a silly idea." Uh, Peter's not much good at deceiving people, is he? It's the same idea he suggested to Grayson in the last chapter.

Love Grayson's optimism. "This so isn't gonna work."

Hang on ... didn't the "not the knights you were looking for" wear the same disguises?

How is Peter supposed to fight with the helmet on? Well - if he can't see, how is he supposed to walk? Um ... that doesn't make sense.

Uh-oh. Grayson, I thought you were supposed to be the smart one? "Smoooth ... reaaal smooth." Yup.

Love the bloopers reel. "RAAR! NABOO!" Isn't that one of the things an orc peon says in Warcraft 2? (Around 6:47-6:52)

Another fun episode, Tawm. I wonder how long it will take before Peter and Grayson activate Plan B. What's Plan B, you sayyy...? RUN!

Yes! And so is...

How is Peter supposed to fight with the helmet on? Well - if he can't see, how is he supposed to walk? Um ... that doesn't make sense.

It's a reference to when Luke Skywalker first trains with Obi Wan on the Millennium Falcon and Obi-Wan puts that helmet on him, and Luke says, "But with the blast shield down, how am I supposed to fight?"

I added that like (where Amiee says "Put on the helmets I got you" and me replying) as I was editing the video, because I knew it was going to come out on Star Wars Day. The title was already a Star Wars reference, but I wanted to add another one in the episode itself.

Yes - If you look at Episode 51, right around the 58 second mark you will see Amiee spots the two knights.
It's the same Knights we see all the way back at Episode 01. (And we see them from time to time in the background of a few episodes).
So Amiee has seen the Knights around for awhile - and when she called the Crimson Draco on them in this episode - you can see Amiee walking by in the background (headed for Ed the Engraver and Ann the Armorer), knowing that the Crimson Draco would now think that Peter and Grayson were those knights.

(Random side note - And it's the same models/faces we see in Peter's story about Pirates episode (but not with gray hair).)

EPISODE 53: FORGING DESTINY: #NeverendingNights – Amiee the Armorer has gathered some… potentially?… useful information from the local bartender at the Pomtom Inn. But what could it mean? (You may want to hang out after the credits this time!)

Oh, gods. It's a new record - it's only been 10 seconds, and already Peter's doing something stupid in taking his helmet off!

Umm ... he's awfully well-dressed for a bartender. He looks like a nobleman, what with his long lace hanky hanging down the front of him. Then again, his head's very big for the rest of his body too.

Are you sure this is NWN and not some strange knock-off?

Aimee and the bartender - what are they doing, telling a story? "As you know, Bob..." Um.

Umm ... I don't understand either the "dwarf" riddle or Grayson's riddle. The answer is "no"? I make pancakes brown and make guys pee? That doesn't make sense.

Aimee's right: "Will you two just shut up for a minute?" If Pawl were here, he'd say "Well spoken, lass!"

Where will you find a dwarf that's not been a dwarf? How about Pawl? He's been all kinds of things.

On the map, is the "home of a dragon" also the Sierra symbol?

Hmm ... Pawl is lost, I get it. But then, why the pan-out to the ... fire? I'm confused. Intrigued. Same thing.

In one of the earlier episodes, one of the bartenders mentions they know everything. (Well, because people get drunk, forget to whisper, and a good bartender knows to keep a good ear out for things being spoken)

The Dwarf Riddle is - as you said - clearly Pawl the Dorf.

As for Grayson's riddle - the answer is "No."

The last line of the riddle is, "Can you guess me?"

And all the things do not connect during the rest of the riddle. So the answer is "No (I can't guess you)."

On the map, is the "home of a dragon" also the Sierra symbol?

Aye, it is. One of the "Easter Eggs" - I think you asked about it before. (And that's when I mentioned the Easter Egg page.

Hah! If you look (and I don't expect anyone to catch it) - it's the tip of Peter, Grayson and Amiee's campfire - the rest of the setting, with the deer and such around the area.

So, it's to show they're actually on the right track (despite Pawl's map not being of the right continent).

Alan the Astounding wakes up from being passed out on the pier and stumbles to the closest tavern. But why has he shown up? What's he after? What is his quest? Will we see more of him? And who is the hottie he's talking to in the tavern? All this and more is revealed in this episode!

Alan has a Couch of Replenishing Gold Coins? How did these thieves get away with a couch? I presume it was Peter and Grayson who took his couch. But yes, who names this stuff?

And yes, it was Peter and Grayson - as seen in the quick flashback - the actual event happened all the way back in Episode 6.

He appears in Episode 15, waking up, saying that Peter and Grayson took his pouch (and summoned his magical familiar - a black cat) - then proceeds to pass out again.

Grayson is trying to figure out how Peter is getting all the ladies at the tavern - and get some pick up advice from a guy in a white leisure suit!
This episode has a very special appearance from Al Lowe from Leisure Suit Larry fame! As well as Jules, who I also originally met thanks to Sierra On-Line! Very special episode! This version - after the episode ends - Peter shares a story that's based on a D&D Session run from my friend Paul (which is only in the HD version).

"Did you see that, Grayson? She offered me her goods." Peter, for gawd's sake ...

Oh dear ... the white-suited gentleman. Is that Al? I can't hear the first sentence he says. "I saw you shopping for mimes you knew?"

Then he says "You know I can help you", and Grayson says "Help me? How?"

Plant seeds ... smile at one and wink at another. Uh-huh.

Again, I don't understand - when this white-suited man says "Are you paying attention?", does Grayson say "Yes, Mr. Head"?

Eye contact, smile, pay attention ... hmm-mm.

"OK, where did you come up with this advice? The Player Society?"

"Sorry, I was just watching Peter. He really is attractive, isn't he?" / "Oh, *bleep* Dammit..."

Monkey Hands? A cavern full of strong, powerful kobolds ... with giant pet ants. Kobolds with formian slaves? Um. Why doesn't this make any sense? Because it's Peter?

The kobolds would ride them. A barbarian had a plan ... Not even my great skills, as the best known ranger throughout all the lands, could save them.

Peter, just ... stop talking. Please. You're making my head hurt. Now I see why Grayson can't stand you.

Monkey hands escaped. Why am I not surprised. A priestess of ... um, a god. You don't say.

It was Peter's great skill that allowed them to escape. And they met that woman talking to Grayson - and she had nothing to do with their escape, it was all Peter.

Somehow, if Aimee hears any of this, I think she'd kick Peter's butt.

One day they stopped hearing from Evil Foo, it was really really weird ... (it's because you gave her money and she ran off with it, Peter!)

Oh dear... *head-desks repeatedly* Peter, please stop. Is he done yet? Nope ... By the way, why is Peter constantly doing the "angry" animation from NWN while talking to the ladies? Is he angry at them?

Thanks, Tawm. Loved Peter's rambling story. Reminded me of Grandpa Simpson and his stories that don't go anywhere. "So Grayson and I tied our weapons to our belts, which was the style at the time..."

The character mentioned, "Thorwalian" was actually my character who perished thanks to the Kobolds and Giant ants, and my "plan" killed Chad's character too.
