This Space Quest 6 classic wallpaper was made in 1024x768 and I'm pretty sure it was official. I recreated it from scratch in 4k, 1440p, and 1080p. With and without the subtext. Also added a bit of modern flare and eye candy. Just a tad. With some gradient to the light beams and a bit of glow on the text.

Did another SQ6 wallpaper. This time, though, I just upscaled it with ESRGAN instead of redoing it from scratch. No way I can recreate that gorgeously grotesque flesh-imbued "6" lol. Available this time in 720p, 1080p, 4k, and 5120x4096!
