I had some yogurt with my lunch, and idly glanced at the description on the box. It used words like "decadent", "luxurious", "indulgent" -- and then told me to "enjoy one of life's simple pleasures".
Something here doesn't connect. How can something be both simple and luxurious?
===================
Last night I played a computer game called "CivCity: Rome", in which I can start an ancient Roman village, watch my little Romans run about and build stuff, and turn their village into a city.
One of them moans: "Pizzas?! Now there's an idea that will never catch on!"
Apart from the obvious "Wanna bet?", the ancient Romans did indeed have pizzas (just not the same ones we have today), and they were very popular even then. So he's doubly wrong.
