[2020] Continue the story...

[*The Butler]

In this game, I'll start a story and every post will be a line continuing that story. Let's limit each line to 20 words or less. Here we go:

It was a dark and stormy night, when....

[* Dragotha]

... thunder rolled. (It rolled a six). Lightning immediately followed, and rolled a five.

[* Clippy]

The lighting illuminated a dark, foreboding mansion in the distance.

[* Dragotha]

In the mansion, Miss Scarlett drew the curtains and resumed kissing Col. Mustard passionately. He grinned and reached out for her...

(Ugh, you humans and your disgusting mating rituals! Hrrr. Dragons are much more dignified).

[* Sokka]

...accordion! "I've been DYING to play this thing all night!"

Col. Mustard begins to dance gleefully with his happy tune.

[* Clippy]

Prof. Plum walks in and says, "What are you two doing? There's important work to be done!"

[* Dragotha]

Just then, Mrs White walked in with a salver. "Anyone for brandy?"

[*The Butler]

The Butler (hey, is that me?) watched all of this unfold, wondering why everyone was in the mansion to begin with. Just then...

[* Dragotha]

... lightning struck again! This time, it struck the lightning conductor, causing sparks to fly.

"Ooooh," Miss Scarlett purred in Col. Mustard's ear, "that's not the only place where sparks could fly. For instance, you and I could..."

[* Influenza]

"...start fixing that spare generator in the basement!"

[* Clippy]

"Nonsense!' Said Col. Mustard. "Such work is beneath my station. Have Prof. Plum do it."

[* Sokka]

"M-meee..??" shivered Plum. "Go down to the basement?? There's bad things down there! SCARY things! Like..."

[* Dragotha]

...dragons!"

"Nonsense," Dragotha said. "I would never go to the basement. I couldn't fit through the door."

[*The Butler]

"Unless we took you down there, piece by piece, bone by bone," said the Cook.

That's when...

[* Dragotha]

... Dragotha took a deep breath.* "You can do no such thing, miserable human female. It is only the constraints of this convivial gathering that prevents me from roasting you for your temerity."
