King's Quest Collection for XP PROBLEM!!!

I recently purchased the KQ,QFG,SQ,LSL, and PQ collections to play on my PC(XP Home). Now "suprisingly" none of them would work w/out the 2006 Patches. However, after I used the SQ 2006 patch and it ran all the games fine... as well as the QFG(for the QFG Anthology) patch I thought all was going to be kosher. So I then tried the KQ collection but the patch had no effect; 3 seconds and then DOSBox closes! Same thing with LSL and PQ, but eventually I copied the DOSBox 7.3 Files to the DOSBox 6.3(Collections original folder) folder and the games ran on the original launcher. Not so for the KQ Collection. I have even tried ScummVM and it can't find ANY GAMES in any designated folders, so if you could please give me some advice on how to get my KQ Collection(1-7) to play I would surely appreciate!

Don't install the games in the Program Files folder. Try "C:\Sierra\King's Quest Collection" instead. Be sure to install the patch in the same folder as the collection.

ok, well I tried that... and then something unexpected happens. The games seem to be working perfectly. Thanks collector ur a genius and a real ladies man.
