I thought you were going to say you need to learn how to rap in order to control the sub.

Maybe. But if you do, how do you translate that into adventure-game mechanics?

Maybe you would have to type something like "Check yo sub; the gauge pressure an' torpedoes, yo" for the sailors to do these things, and they'd help you to control the sub. It'd be a puzzle where you have to find the right commands for the sailors.

And naturally we don't know if that's the Pimp's room - but the whole point of this thread is making up fictional games.
So - in that one - it's he pimp's room.

So unless the prostitute has come up to her window, poked her head out, and yelled "What da *BLEEP!* are you doing?! Get away from that, you *BLEEPER!!!*" (or something similar, then she can't see Larry.

OK, since it's a fictional game, the pimp can dust for prints on the glass and get Larry's prints ... and then he can dust the hooker's bedpost and get Larry's prints ... and compare them ... and say "Aha! The one who stole my Spanish Fly is also that loser in a white suit who came in here before! Now I'll track him down with my PimpMobile!"

Cue music. Na na na na na na na na, PimpMan!!! And his fellow assistant, Sobbin (aka the hooker, who's crying! "Where my Spanish Fly?!")

Eventually they find the evildoer in the white suit! But Larry the Loser loses 'em in a languid lovable love-seat and locks 'em in the loo, Lawd ha' mercy!

But they bust out of the loo and lure Larry into a lurid loathsome lasso, which they laboriously lock on his lousy limp legs!

Have you ever heard glass shatter? It's not a quiet thing.
Larry being outside her window (which is OPEN) when he ties the rope and uses a hammer to break the other person's window is probably easily heard by the lady of the night.
Same reason why you can be upstairs, and here someone break your window downstairs in a two story house. (Speak from experience)

Someone once broke one of the windows on my car while I was upstairs. I didn't hear anything throughout, but they didn't even steal anything ... GRR. Just broke it to make a point, I guess? Not happy, I was.

O... K... a cow. Fine. The cow is tired of waiting for Graham to milk her, so she curses him thus-wise:
