Shivers 2 - Harvest of Souls question

Hey there Sierra folks. I have a question about the subject game from 1997. I remember really loving it back in the late 1990's, and spent many a happy hour in that world working puzzles and solving the over-arcing mystery of the story. (I forget now, but I believe I was using Windows 98 or maybe ME at the time.) Going through some old discs recently, I found the original game, and in a wave of nostalgia, I got the urge to play through it again. Unfortunately, the game won't start on my Windows 10 operating system, and I was just wondering - does anyone have a trick for getting the old game to operate on Windows 10? Or I would even consider purchasing a new version made for Windows 10 if that is an option? HELP! Thanks.

Shivers and Shivers II are both on sale on GoG for $5 each. Worth getting. Works on any machine via emulator.
