New Dork

(Not indicative of New York at all! ;) I've never been to NY. Just continuing the "parody" theme) ;)

Where is New Dork mentioned in a Sierra game or tie to a Sierra game? :D These should all relate to Sierra games somehow. :)

So going off "new dork" as a person -

Larry Laffer (from LSL1 EGA because he was new to us back then... and a dork)

Oops! :roll: @ self. Sorry, I forgot. Then again, "Follywood" somehow passed muster ... ;)

"New Dork" can be a parody of Manhunter: New York. :lol:

Back to the game ...

Barrel (Steve Jobs was wearing it in LSL1 EGA - which was a reference to the company Apple)...

I was wondering -- why was Steve Jobs implied to have gone bankrupt? *curious* So I looked it up. LSL1 came out in 1987. :) According to wikipedia, from 1983 to 1986, Apple had gone through three very expensive failures: the Apple LISA, LISA 2, and Macintosh XL.

And according to this article in the NY Times, in 1985, there was a board-room coup in Apple and Steve Jobs was ousted. There! Now it makes sense why he's bankrupt and (literally) selling apples on the street. :lol:

Anyway ...

Barrel => Wood

(There's wood in almost every game that involves trees, forests, jungles etc.!) ;)

Yup! It happens in QfG3 and QfG5, among others.
