Thank goodness for that. When I had a look at this thread title from outside the LSL forums, it said "Leisure Suit Larry 1 and 2 mu..." -- and so I, in my tired and coffee-less state (it's morning here), thought that "mu" stood for "murdered".

D'oh! It'd be a bit difficult to murder a fictional character.

LOL! Yeah - and that's a dark turn for a Larry story... though, Larry does commit suicide potentially in the first one - which is INSANELY dark for a humor game.

Well, hold on a minute. Larry does get murdered quite a lot in the first game, doesn't he? All you have to do is stray into the dark alley ... or walk into the road ... or lose all your money ... or ...

Larry also gets murdered in LSL2 a fair bit. Try not paying for the Grotesque Gulp. Or (randomly) getting sat on by Mama. Or ... any of the ways that Larry gets killed by the KGB.

Granted, Larry can die in a whole lot of ways. But statistically speaking, Larry more often dies from his own stupidity (or the player doing something wrong), in comparison to someone else doing Larry in.

Well, he does get run over. I don't think he technically gets murdered during the mugging; it's just game over because you don't have anything.
