Well, PQ2 was made in 1988. VGA only became standard in 1990, so EGA and CGA were still the norm.

Same as Sierra. The installer allows for both. I played it in EGA, but I remember trying to play it in CGA a few years ago for fun.
(I love the Wizardry series; well from V onward... IV and previous are insanely difficult and just line art dungeons, which always disoriented me when I tried doing maps)
