Hmm. I don't think I managed to beat this one (I was stuck in the final section, after the skate arena), so I'll watch out for this playthru with interest. ;)

I do love SQ4. I think it's probably my second favorite, behind SQ3.

Played Space Quest IV on lunch. Died a lot. :D

That's a nice benefit of working from home.

I tried playing SQ4 yesterday, but realised I did something wrong by jumping into the sewers before I had the batteries from the bunny. Drat! Restarted, got the batteries, got the jar, got the slime sample in the sewers -- and got lost in the sewers and eaten by the slime. :P

That's no fun! :(

Finally made it through the sewers, got out ... and was promptly brain-eaten by one of the zombies. Bleh. =\

I think I'll wait for you to complete the playthru. You're the expert! =D

As my previous post stated, I died a lot already. I even got killed on Xenon by a flying robot which I never remember seeing. I thought the wandering zombie guy on the streets was the only issue you had to avoid.

But yeah, I grabbed the unstable thing - jumped in the sewer BOOM. Dead. :D

In the sewer - just go left, and when the slime comes use the jar, and that should be about the same screen there's a ladder to go up.

Ah. Clearly that was my mistake - I was trying to play the game without having a clue about what I needed to do. Obviously, I need a walkthru. ;) Luckily, this very site is awash with them!

Gee, a site devoted to Sierra games has walkthrus for Sierra games. Who'd have thought it? ;)

I don't think what I told you is really a walk thru. :) More of a nice hint. :D

That's because they added the randomly wandering robot to the CD version. In the original floppy version release it was only the cyborg who wandered and then summoned the robot when it caught you.
