In the meantime, SQ5 is queued up and ready to roll.
Here's two screen shots to warm up the thread, that I made.

Does the second screenshot read "Space Quest V: The Next Sanitation"? *curious*

The coordinates to Klorox II is a joke, I am sure. 90210 - the TV show.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 4:03 am Yes, Roger Wilco! Let's proudly count how many times the Academy uses the word "proud" in three paragraphs!(Actually, only twice).
[insert Chief Commanding Officer's name here.] =P
Heh ... Commodore LXIV. LXIV, in Roman numerals, is "64".
I'm sure all these names are hidden jokes of some kind. "Ku" is probably Q, from James Bond.
The names "Peeyu", Spittonie", "Klorox II" and "Gingivitis" are pretty obvious.
On the other hand ... "Thrakus"? "Lukaszuk II"? "Monostadt"? "Gangularis"? Not sure what those are. Do any of these ring a bell?
Take a step back, son! I didn't!
Good call. I see it now.
Fair enough. It was only in the manual, not in game, IIRC. The manual has both the name and the abbreviation; I just happened to put both my DOS game code list all those years ago.
Yup - and foreshadowing - because this is where the female terminator shows up.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 4:20 am Hmm ... I just tried re-reading the "KU" planet name again, syllable by syllable ... and ... geez.
Kiz Urazgubi = "Kiss Your @$$ Goodbye".

Probably why.
