OK! :) So ... 1988 game, set on earth setting, and a quest game. *looks at list* I presume Daventry is an earth (or earth-like) setting. Oh, poo. :(

Are you in "Gold Rush"?

Are you in "Leisure Suit Larry II"? ;)

(Also, does Daventry count as an earth setting? Daventry is more-or-less earth-like, anyway).

I'd say Daventry is a fantasy setting and not on Earth.

LSL, PQ, Eco, Conquest games - those are all "earth" based.

Fair enough. :) I suppose if Daventry was an earth-setting, then Glorianna (from Quest for Glory) would be too. ;)

Yes

I would agree that fantasy games would not be considered to be on Earth. That said, the newspaper in PQ1 indicated that King's Quest exists in the same universe as Police Quest, so... :)

Yeah, I get nods to things like that. But to me that's just a fun little nod.

You'd have to argue then, if you considered that universe binding, that Star Trek is in the same universe as Space Quest since we see what is clearly the Enterprise take off from Monolith.

And Star Wars too, as we see a TIE Fighter in SQ3's junk yard.

So on and so on. :D

And "Transformers" would be in the same world as Space Quest, Star Trek and Star Wars ... IIRC, you have to climb into one of Optimus Prime's eyes. ;)

OK, so NBH is in PQ2. Hmm ... are you alive?

Pretty sure he is. He's been answering these posts.

As Tawmis pointed out above, yes I am alive. :)

Seriously, though. Yes, the thing I am thinking of is alive.
