Huh. The only Hawkeye I know of is from M*A*S*H. *shrug* Sorry, what is Marvel's Hawkeye?

Have you never seen any of the AVENGERS movies? He's in the movies too (just not in that costume).Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 9:28 am Huh. The only Hawkeye I know of is from M*A*S*H. *shrug* Sorry, what is Marvel's Hawkeye?

He's an archer - but has all kinds of trick arrows, expert marksman. And a smart mouth (in the comics).

I agree with Tawmis -- no need for 'sorry'; my standard reply to the stuff I enjoy (giant transforming robots, cartoons, video games, preferring movie scores and comedy albums over pop music) is always the same:Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 6:08 pm Never saw the Marvel movies, sorry. I like what I like.
If everyone liked the same stuff, how boring a world would that be?
And why should you be expected to know about a particular early 19th-century American author? -- Heck, I know nothing about 99.9999% of them myself, and those guys are my peeps!

Cartoons, video games, movie scores and comedy albums? *high-fives goatmeal*
Boo to pop music and top 40. We're all adults here, so we can make up my own mind about what we like!
If everyone liked (or pretended to like) current pop music, we would all still be teenagers in high school, desperately trying to "fit in" with the "cool crowd". (In other words, zombies). Forget that!

Looks like you failed to mention liking "giant transforming robots"...Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 3:56 am Cartoons, video games, movie scores and comedy albums? *high-fives goatmeal*

I haven't seen "The Transformers" in nearly 35 years. Give me a break.

Original image.
Just over an hour, coloring. Mind you, I did NOT draw this. Artist signature is in the image (just can't read it, myself).

Re: The Tawmis Coloring Book (formerly "Coloring Ka-Zar")
Nice job! It makes me wonder what that dwarf on the left is doing, though.
And ... The dragonfire looks like it's scorching the midriff-baring elven warrior-woman and just touching the human archer's bow. Next up - archer with no bow and warrior woman running around with shorter pants.
By the way, why is it that women in D&D seem to be given shorter and/or smaller armour in every picture? Surely, the point of armour is to protect you. Armour that doesn't cover your torso won't protect you. All it needs is a couple of orcs firing arrows at your stomach and boom, yer dead (or at least badly wounded).
We won't even go into how the chainmail bikini is bad thinking. Sure, it's the Law of Sexy, but if you're going into battle in it ... er, no. No protection at all. Having said that, some male heroes do the same thing - e.g. Conan the Cimmerian and his Loincloth of Magic Protection From Every Weapon. *cough*

Yeah, he's in an odd position. I am assuming indicating the dragon is taller than him and perhaps landed on the party so the dwarf is climbing out of the way.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 6:50 am Nice job! It makes me wonder what that dwarf on the left is doing, though.
Yeah, that (female in skimpy armor) was definitely a thing of the 80s. But when your target audience is nerdy males. It makes sense.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 6:50 am And ... Hmm ... IIRC, it's still around. For instance, Male Barbarian and Female Barbarian. (Both very SFW) Exhibit 3 over there is Elsa von Spielburg (with a meep, from QfG5).
I get it, it's sexy etc... but it wouldn't stand up to a real fight.
