Re: Gabriel Knight 1 Music.
Brings back memories. Thanks, Tawm.
I think I have the SotF book somewhere, but I can't remember where.
The quote from "Computer Gaming World" is apt. The zombies-chasing-you-in-Benin scene is very scary (the first time it happened to me, I was on the edge of my seat ... and then Gabriel died ... and I yelled "NO!" Then I tried again ... and again ... and again ... and again ... 8 times, and finally escaped. Woo-hoo!)
The being strangled by a snake in Dr John's museum is scary. Wolfgang's death is a "GAH!!!" moment ( ), even though we've seen him for only a few minutes. And of course, that ending! Either save Malia or not ... and each one has a different ending.
Good game. Definitely worth playing.

More GK1 music.
GM to MP3 (and before I get scolded in case GK1 didn't support GM - just saying now - got it from Quest Studios eons ago)

Have you noticed how the theme song in the second version sounds "darker" than the in the first version? *shrug* I'm not sure why.

It sounds a little slower, so it does sound a little darker.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 1:00 am Have you noticed how the theme song in the second version sounds "darker" than the in the first version? *shrug* I'm not sure why.
