[2021] Continue the Story...

[*Gamera]

We approached the store on foot. In front of us, two men in trench coats were also heading towards the store. My heart skipped a beat as I realized who, or should I say, what they were.
"Harris," I said trying to keep my voice down. "Look at the two men and the store windows."
"What are you talking ab---?" he stopped mid-sentence as I noticed what I did. As the two men walked by the store windows, they didn't have any reflections.

This wasn't good. Without saying a word, I unloaded the clip from my Mauser and replaced it with silver bullets.

[*Gamera]

"And what are you two up to?" asked another trench-coat wearing man who had walked up behind us unnoticed. Looking quickly at a nearby window, I saw that he too had no reflection. Seeing no options, I pull out my gun a shoot a silver bullet into his chest.

I curse softly as I realise that silver bullets only work on werewolves, not vampires. Just then, I espy a broken (and sharp) piece of wood on the ground - perfect!

Quick as a flash, I pick it up, spin 'round and dive for the new person's ribcage, praying that the silver bullet distracted the vampire for long enough.

The stake finds its mark and the vampire vanishes in a cloud of dust. Unfortunately, the commotion attracts the attention of the two we were following.

"We've been expecting you," one of the vampires said. "I believe I'm the one you've been looking for."
