Space Quest The Movie.

In Space No One Can Hear You Clean, er, Scream. But if you post in this forum about Space Quest - someone's sure to hear you. I think. Try it, anyway!

I like it how when the Arcada explodes (about 6:30-ish), nothing remains behind - not even space debris.

All Roger wanted was a nap!

About 19:30 ... Roger gambles. That must be the luckiest Roger in the history of Space Quests. ;)

I like Josh Mandel as Tiny (the spaceship salesman). :D

I like the droid's voice.

Er ,,, when Roger is in the washing machine, how does he not turn into goo? (i.e. 26:30)? ;)

"I should probably stop talking to myself, too."

"No, really ... I'd skedaddle if I were you."

There's a familiar voice -- Ken Williams as Sarien guard #1? The Ken Williams?

One last question: what was that bit right at the end (i.e. "So. Do you own King's Quest 2")? :)

That was fun. Maybe it could be pitched to Hollywood, or be done with life-action actors etc... hmm? (I know, I know, it's a dream. But I can always dream...) ;)

I think they were just being "funny" with the ending scene being two aliens talking about King's Quest (any Sierra game).

I remember when some guy did something similar to the above, where he created his own story using Space Quest games, and voiced over it, like 12 years ago.

The "So, do you own King's Quest 2?" line was something Ken Williams added to the actual game and Scott Murphy couldn't figure out how to remove it because he tied it into the game somehow so intricately that removing it broke the game. So it was only fitting that Ken Williams himself voiced THAT Sarien saying that infamous line he added. :D

I also played two characters in the movie. Super fun project. There's also going to be a Space Quest 2: The Movie. The script is being written now.

Thanks lol. My injured scientist voice came out a little bit more like Christopher Lloyd than I realized but I guess it works. :D

Eh? I don't recall the Injured Scientist talking about a 1.21 "jigawatt" engine or a plutonium generator. Great Scott! :D

(I know Christopher Lloyd did many other things, but I still like him best as Emmett Brown in BTTS. He was so ... over-the-top) ;)

Christopher Lloyd is awesome. And either way you feel about the KQ 2015 reboot, he did a great job voicing old man Graham.
