I get it, it's sexy etc... but it wouldn't stand up to a real fight. ;)
With barbarians I can excuse it for the generic fantasy trope of they wear furs and nothing else.

But not Elsa von Spielburg, then? IIRC she's a rogue, not a barbarian. (She uses a magic sword, but she has a kit of lockpicks).

Yeah the mid-drift exposed makes no sense. Other than 90's.

Ah, very nicely done! :D I missed these. :)

I'm ... not sure what I'm looking at, though? Who/what are these ... people? What are they doing? :|

Colouring in those curved lines (pink, red, green) must have been a bit of a pain -- am I right? ;)

Power Pack is a fun comic when it originally came out - about four kids who get different powers from an alien.

There's Jack (can take cloud form), Alex (can levitate, one on the left), Julie (who can fly fast, and has a rainbow trail), and Katie (who can disintegrate and able to shoot energy when she absorbs stuff she disintegrates).

Aha. Was it difficult to colour in Julie's curved rainbow trail? *wonders* Straight lines are easy; dump colour and it's done (most of the time). Are curvy lines more difficult?

Using layers, it's not. You just draw and fill.

Nice. I've never been much of a fan of Judge Dredd, but of course I recognise what he looks like.

I'm not sure why, by the way, why some superheroes and supervillains need a helmet that only leaves the mouth exposed. For instance, Robocop, Judge Dredd and the Mouth of Sauron. ;)

Yes, Judge Dredd's helmet also (sometimes) leaves the chin exposed -- but oh well. We never see more than half of his face, or Robocop's or the Mouth of Sauron's. *shrug* Why is that?

After the shoot-out at OCP headquarters (when RoboCop goes to arrest Dick Jones), you DO get to see Murphy's full face ~sans helmet~ for the rest of the movie... ;)

Well, the helmet on Judge Dredd is bullet proof. And as someone who is in a world where like 90% of the people are criminals... :)
In the world of Judge Dredd, they are judge, jury, executioner, as needed. So they're always getting shot at.
I am always laughing when I watch something like NCIS or CSI, and the main cast goes in with the breaching SWAT team, but the main cast are the only people without helmets (so you can see who they are, I get it - but that's also, in a realistic situation, going to get your head shot off) :D

Ha! :) I think I created a graphic exactly about that:

Bullets, arrows, crossbow bolts ... same difference ;)

It's the truth.

And the best thing about Judge Dredd is you NEVER see anything more than his nose to his chin. In the comics he never shows his face. In the Karl Urban "DREDD" (one of the BEST super hero movies) you NEVER see his face.

The... "Judge Dredd" that Stallone did... he RARELY wears his helmet. Sigh. (And it's more... comedic... double sigh...)

Yep. 'Cos if you never saw Stallone's face, how would you know it was him? And how would you know what a beautiful job the makeup artists and hairstylists did on him? :P

Please ... spare us.
