... and I'm tired of running.
So on Wednesday (3 days ago) I went to the bank and stood in line to deposit some cheques. Then a man stepped into line behind me, but he stood so close that he was in my personal space. (Honestly - he could hear him breathing).
I turned around and said: "Excuse me - can you please take a step back?" Not just physical distance, but also personal space and all.
He took a step back, but then he said: "Don't worry, I just gave you COVID."
YIKES??? If that's a joke, I'm not laughing. Or ... was he serious??? Either way, he came across as a sociopath.
I made sure to stay well away from him!

Today (Saturday), I was at the supermarket check-out, collecting my stuff and change, when the next person in line - some old guy - hit me in the leg with his cane and told me to hurry up.
I don't care if you're in a hurry, mate. Violence is not the answer.
And now, after a long long day, I was exhausted and thought I might grab a pizza. So I went to the local pizza place named after a domino piece and ordered a ham-and-cheese pizza.
Sounds simple enough. Except ... when I got it home, I discovered that whoever created my pizza decided that I should have a Hawaiian. And I HATE pineapple.
I'd ask what else could go wrong, but I think I've had enough ... Le Sigh.
Ack. I'm surrounded by madmen ...

Sorry to hear about all of this. I just don't get why people just can't deal with a tiny amount of inconvenience (mask wearing, social distancing) to deal with COVID. And then on top of it this guy decides to be a jerk about it.
Honestly it feels like basic civility has gone out the window these last few years.
