Heh, giving vague clues based off guesses, just for fun. :)

No, but there are "weapons" about...
notbobsmith wrote: Sat Jan 08, 2022 12:36 pm Are you in a King's Quest game?
No, but I share something in common with one of them...

And for the sake of my memory, dragging my initial clue over to the new page to mostly remind myself what I am.

During the dawn I am quite heavy
It's rather slick, how you find the lever.
See what secrets they bury
Lost in the dark, almost forever.

No, there's no magic spells in this game. But there are thieves...

Hmm. Trying to figure out the significance of the word "dawn" when the game occurs at night.

Are you found in the main house?

I am.

As for the word dawn - notice it's in italics.

I bet if you read my clue and googled Colonel's Bequest, you could figure it out.

You could also try helping narrow it down, like what I did in the other thread.

QFG is one of my least replayed Sierra games, just because it can take a long time due to the RPG side of it - but never stops me from trying to at least narrow down what it could be.

Even if it means NBS gets the answer. It keeps the game moving rather than just one person trying to guess.

 Is that because I mentioned the basement in the other game?
No, I am not in the basement. But I do lead to something... below.
