Are you dead?

(You can be neither, e.g. a glass or a table) ;)

I am not dead, but nor am I alive (so I guess neither).
But I probably helped people from dying.

I am not in the dining room. I am in a smaller area, but bigger at the same time.

EDIT -

Since we're on a new page, dragging my initial clue over here to help me remember.

During the dawn I am quite heavy
It's rather slick, how you find the lever.
See what secrets they bury
Lost in the dark, almost forever.

I am not any form of food or drink.
As a matter of fact, I'd complicate things if you tried to eat or drink.

I am not something you sit in/on (table, chair, etc).
But ironically, I am very close to the flesh when used normally.

Are you the suit of armor? Heavy. And "dawn" as opposed to "knight". There's a note and a lever inside.

I am indeed the suit of armor!
Tawmis wrote: Fri Jan 07, 2022 2:54 pm I know this isn't the one where I have to give clues, but this will help me remember.

Lost in the dark, almost forever.
- During the "dawn" I am heavy - "dawn" is italics because emphasize was the sound - "don" - when you DON/put on the armor, it's heavy!
- It's slick how you find the lever - slick refers to the oilcan used on the armor, and the lever in the head piece
- Secrets buried - is reference to the note
- Lost in the dark, is reference to what the lever opens (and if you go there without a light source, you plunged to your death)

Rath Darkblade wrote: Sat Jan 08, 2022 3:43 am Are you a Conquest game?
No, but there are "weapons" about...
notbobsmith wrote: Sat Jan 08, 2022 12:36 pm Are you in a King's Quest game?
No, but I share something in common with one of them...
The weapons references to Colonel's weapons found in the room.
The thing shared with King's Quest is that Colonel's Bequest is a female lead, like King's Quest IV.
And that the original King's Quest cover was a suit of armor. ;)

Rath Darkblade wrote: Sat Jan 08, 2022 6:25 pm Are you a Quest for Glory game?
No, there's no magic spells in this game. But there are thieves...
Thieves references the Colonel's guests. :D

 Is that because I mentioned the basement in the other game?
No, I am not in the basement. But I do lead to something... below.
References the lever opening...

No, I am not alive. But the living normally used me.
Living using the suit of armor. :)

The kept people alive, is reference to armor...

Complicate eat or drink was the face plate on the armor. :)

Close to the flesh, is armor being worn. :)
