Newly Discovered KQ4 AGI Easter Egg!

Post by Akril »

This has to be one of the most awesome KQ things I've seen in a very long time.

This is what the series needed: Rosella break-dancing!

Just wondering, has anyone actually tried this yet? It seems more like something somebody programmed in with AGI Studio (seeing as it's not in the SCI version and you can't currently edit SCI scripts easily). It also looks like it's just using view resources of Rosella from various areas of the game. The absence of music makes me all the more skeptical since Sierra usually added music to such easter eggs. Like the Monty Python one in Conquests of Camelot.

Tried it and it's real. There is no music.

Yep, it works, but only in version 2.0. Typing "rap kq" in the cell doesn't work in later AGI versions, but the loops of Rosella dancing and the lyrics are still in the resource files.

Cool!

Actually, now that I have time to reflect, I think I've seen this before...
