KQ3 DOSBox Installer problem

Post by dotkel50 »

Hello again Collector,

I just scored KQ3 Gold box....used your installer.... and got the following message when i tried to play the game:

Please insert your original disk in a drive.....press enter when disk is in the drive, press ESC to quit.

So I insert the disk, press enter, and nothing happens. I'm guessing this is a different version problem again. Check your PM in a few minutes, i'm sending you my files.

That is a copy protection error message. I'll see what I can do to make it in DOSBox.

Try it now. Because the "bad disk sector" copy protection of the AGI games makes it impossible to run them on a modern system or through an emulator like DOSBox, I am including a couple of replacement files from the copy of KQ3 from one of the collections to make it work in DOSBox.
