Sigh. I still remember the original "Willow" (late '80s, I think?), which is still entertaining (and just a bit silly). :D It was one of the better fantasy movies of that era. I'm sure the effects from then would look a bit dated now (especially the puppet monsters), but it had some good humour and lots of action. ;)

The cast back then (Warwick Davis, Val Kilmer, Elora Danan) were superb. The writers (George Lucas and Ron Howard, I think?) gave the story lots of heart, and the characters were pretty individualised. Yes, Val Kilmer hammed it up a bit IIRC, but after all, it was aimed at kids.

I just hope Disney isn't going to run it into the ground, that's all - like they did with the Star Wars. :(

The original Willow is still amazing. (Just watched it the other night again)

As for Star Wars and Disney, like always there's gonna be hit and miss and people differ on opinions.

Some folks don't mind the newest ones, some people hate them, some people love them.

And the new Disney shows, are the same with people.

I don't mind the newest movies. They weren't great, but they were entertaining. (Some could have used some editing).

The Star Wars shows on Disney+ - I didn't care for Boba Fett, but absolutely 200% loved The Mandalorian.

Not seen Obi Wan yet.
