Yeah - once it got into obscure characters, I wasn't sure - because not even websites had a lot of information of character names.
And I think I played this - MAYBE!?! - when it first came out and certainly recall very little of it - so I am sure I never got far.

The Sierra Chest and the SHP walkthrough have character names, but I had to go through them with a fine-toothed comb to get the names. (I also looked up screenshots of this game to refresh my memory).

Like Tawm, I played this when it first came out. Unfortunately, I was a teenager at the time, which means ... short attention span + had no idea what I was doing = quickly got arrested = lost interest.

(What? Most teenagers are like that. It didn't help that my English wasn't the best, seeing as it wasn't my first language. It also didn't help that the film-noir angle went right over my head. Again, teenager)

The character is obscure but I have found her/him mentioned in some guides and walkthroughs. Need another hint? Otherwise narrowing it down by location might help.
