I'm not sure what's in the treasure room except for the treasure. But you are made of rock so you can't be the treasure itself. The door (made of stone?) is bigger than a boulder.
Are you a stalagmite or stalactite?

And to be clear you're on this screen?

I hate doing it this way - but there's a lot of rocks here.
So are you in one of the even numbered boxes I designated (2 or 4)?

To be honest, I can't recall. (And the only QfG2 savegame I have is just after I get the map and compass, so there's a loooooooooooooong way to go).
IIRC, this rock appears in all 4 boxes. I know that's not very helpful - sorry.

I agree. This is very confusing. If the rock is a stalagmite or stalactite then it can only be on the top (stalactite) or bottom (stalagmite) of the screen.
Is the rock a stalactite?

If it's all 4 screens - it has to be the floor itself (in its entirety which is the only thing that spans all four screens).Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 3:17 am To be honest, I can't recall. None of the other specific rocks (even the ceiling) touch all four screens.
And you said you're not bigger than a boulder, so that seems like it'd rule out the floor. And be a smaller rock.
And you said it's something the hero can't interact with, so it's not like an inventory item the hero has on him.

NBS ... yes. (But which?)
Tawm ... nope, it's not the floor.

I haven't played this in a while. Is there a stalactite that falls? That would explain why it would appear in all for quadrants.

Um, I'm not allowed to help here. I can only say "yes" or "no".

I am pretty sure he's guessing that one of the rocks falls.
So a yes or no would be appropriate.

Um ... all NBS is saying is "Is there a stalactite that falls?" I'm sorry, but I can't say yes or no without spoiling everything.
Is it your guess, NBS?

I'm not sure why you couldn't just provide a "yes" or "no" to my question.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 7:13 am Um ... all NBS is saying is "Is there a stalactite that falls?" I'm sorry, but I can't say yes or no without spoiling everything.

Anyway, let me rephrase.
Are you the falling stalactite?
