And IMAGINE, which I am sure you all know the original...

Hot on the heels of that video Nathan James kindly asked me to be a part of this beautiful song. Once again, I find myself singing side by side with friends, giants and heroes. Geoff Downes, Toby Jepson, Michael Sweet, Cormac Neeson, Danny Dela Cruz, Sophie Burrell, Jeff Scott Soto, Kris Barras, and PAUL RODGERS!!
Enjoy!

And I love this one...

Surprise! We have one more fun lockdown video song for you.
This was recorded months ago but there were a number of delays making the video for it (all my fault!). An enormous challenge to get this one right but I think that we have, this is Rainbow's "Temple Of The King" and it features myself on vocals (covering Dio. Was I nervous? Yes I was) Robert Sas on guitars, Phil Crombie on bass, Paul Morris on keyboards and Ross Elder on drums. Huge special thanks to Phil Crombie for his wonderful work mixing the sound and editing the video. And, for me, a special shout out to my mates Greg Smith and Doogie White, whose live version of this classic I used to get trained up!
I hope I've done you justice.
Enjoy!

I took Lion's video "Power Love" (only video they ever did) - and spliced and diced it together, moving segments, and adding Transformers portions... to make a video for their song "Transformers" which was the theme song of the original Transformers movie.

Very cool. I think overall Transformers had the most '80s soundtrack of all time.

I have always enjoyed Nickleback and by the sounds of this - I'll continue to dig it.

I just don't care for how he's pronouncing San Quentin in this video (San Ka-wit-ton - emphasizing oddly).
For those out of the states and unsure what San Quentin is - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Quentin_State_Prison

All right, this is seriously weird. :(

I replied to Tawm's post about the Transformers video, saying how much I liked it, how much 80s vibes it brought out, and reminiscing about how I had Transformers toys in the 80s.

And now my post has disappeared. What is going on? :(

You take some good drugs. As much as I am on the forums, I never saw any reply to the Transformers video.

That said, Nickleback (who I happen to really like, screw the rest of the world) - just released an official video for the San Quentin song I posted above...

I agree with you. Nickleback rocks. :D

(And I don't take any drugs at all, except small quantities of Paracetamol / Tylenol when I need it. So it can't be that. ;)

I do know that the forum started logging me off again when I finish typing a reply and pressing "Submit", so maybe it did that and I didn't notice...)

New Stryper song... I'm digging it. The scream in the beginning is impressive. Though Oz Fox (guitarist) looks like he's just there; but he just recently had major brain surgery.

This is impressive. I heard this and immediately thought of you, Tawm! ;)

It's best to turn on the captions for this, but absolutely worth it. :D

A minute of listening to this, and I feel like getting on a horse and invading the next town over.

Starts over very tavern-y, then at the minute and some change when they start showing the guys playing - it picks up. Then 1:51 reminds me of Lord of the Rings, before it suddenly kicks into rock/... what style would you call it?

Really good.

According to the wiki-article about them, the style is called folk metal. It's a fusion of heavy metal music with traditional folk music. :)

They've been featured on the game "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" and were chosen by Metallica to participate in Metallica's 30th anniversary album, the Metallica Blacklist. They've also done other things ... they have a great sound.
