Hello everyone, once again after a very long absence on my part!
I wanted to share something I made sometime in the early 2010s: a humorous mishmash of lines from Gabriel and Grandma Knight. I uploaded it to Facebook, as I wouldn't feel comfortable putting it on my YouTube channel, for example, since I want to keep that only for things I’ve made myself and fully own.
If anyone would like to preserve the file in case it ever gets a copyright strike or something, I think it should be possible to download the video. I needed to make it a video file because Facebook doesn’t allow for audio-only uploads. I don’t have any other place to put it online, so if it disappears from my Facebook videos one day, it will likely stay gone then, unless someone else would like to make it available somewhere else.
Here’s the link. I hope it may make for some lighthearted moments.

That's pretty funny!
I can host the file in case it ever gets a copyright strike - but I doubt it would since it's all dialogue and no music or anything. (And considering I have a Sierra Channel on youtube that has GK music, that's been fine, you should be good).

Right, I figured also that there shouldn’t be a big risk of it getting a strike. Thank you for the kind offer, Tawmis! Funnily, the MP3 audio file I made from the original WAV, which is some 36 Mb, is larger (8.5 Mb) than the HD MP4 video (5.7 Mb), even prior to Facebook’s compression. I uploaded all these to Dropbox just in case, or if you’d like to put it up in some form or other.

WAV is always going to be the largest; because it's a raw file. MP3 is compressed. The MP4 will do compression also (and because it's majority just black image, there isn't a lot of rendering).Simo Sakari Aaltonen wrote: ↑Sat Oct 15, 2022 4:31 pm Right, I figured also that there shouldn’t be a big risk of it getting a strike. I have housed them all on the Larry Laffer site as well.

Thanks again. Yes, I’m also very familiar with the technical aspects you mentioned, having dealt with these formats for the two to three decades they’ve existed (MP4 being the youngest, but still over two decades now). But I meant that MP4 must be either more efficient or technically (if not audibly) lossier for audio, since it made for a smaller file even with a little bit of video on top. Not that it makes a practical or noticeable difference here.

Sorry I missed it before, Simo. I cracked up laughing. Thanks for sharing!
I could just credit Gabriel and Grandma discussing this, even if it was a little weird. But when Grandma started talking about being a voodoo practitioner? It became much stranger.

Thank you, Rath, glad to hear it made you laugh! I had nearly forgotten about it but came across it while sorting and archiving my seemingly endless audio files. I laughed at it again myself, but I know my sense of humour may be unusual. I remember that when I made this, I had all the individual audio files from the game extracted and at my disposal, and then I just had silly fun combining them oddly like this.
