Back in the days, when I got my first Larry Game, I couldn't stop playing for days.
Everyone got so sick of me, because I had to tell them about this weird little funny guy, that thought he was sooo cool but wasn't
I do believe I convinced a few to actually go buy the game and see for themselves, even though they had no clue what adventure games was.
It may not sound as much, but I actually haven't met any real adventure gamer here in my long gaming life
And when Larry 2, then 3, then 5 and 6 was released, I was the first in the store to get them and paid wayyy to much money for them, lol.

Over the years they somehow vanished, so I kept buying them til they too disappeared!
Then I got the first collection and then Larry 7 boxed - the box went poof somehow - and I still have those.

A couple of years back, I couldn't find my Larry 7, so I went and got it off amazon with the box together with a new collection, lol

I feel like I hijacked JohnnyPhantom's post a bit yesterday.

I helped a lot during the Kickstarter program, even ran a 24 hour marathon for a charity and the kickstarter project.

That was a great idea. I wasn't present, but Al was pretty impressed by it, and I heard there were over 1,000 people present at one point. Also today somebody is going to do the entire Gabriel Knight series playthrough live, starting at 2pm East Coast time. Kinda wonder how she'll handle it (my video walkthrough of the 3 games is just over 24 hours, and that's in one clean sweep without additional comments, without walking back and forth and of course without lunch or toilet breaks in it). Good luck with the space Quest playthrough!
