Got something.

But as always, gonna leave hints, for those guessing and for myself to remember. ;)

I am like a hungry beast
I will hold take all that I am fed, from this feast.
Fill me before you depart
But be wary, and never be too kind of heart.

You are like a hungry beast?
Are you hero from the east?
Free the princess from the band,
Force the ogress to flee the land? :D

(See the QfG1 Prophecy) ;)

Seriously, though: are you in a "Quest" game?

Is the "Quest" game's setting somewhat related to fantasy (i.e. not earth or outer space)?

No.

This one is tough to answer, not because I want to be tricky... however, there's no numbering.

But sequence-wise, I would have been considered an "evenly numbered game", so I would say "Yes."

Are you in Conquest of the Longbow? (What you said pretty much rules everything else out.)

Not quite, because ...

Are you in Laura Bow: The Dagger of Amon Ra? ;)

*****EDIT******

Oops - that's not a "Quest" game.

Are you found in Nottingham Forest?

It's been nearly a year since I played CotL. *thinks*

Are you the Ancient Oak (you see it when you run away from the Sheriff's men)?

I am like a hungry beast ........................................................................................... living trees are always hungry! :D See the LOTR Ents stomping the Orcs into goo.
I will hold take all that I am fed, from this feast.............................................................. if you please the Ancient Oak, he will feast on the Sheriff's men
Fill me before you depart ......................................................................................... you can fill the tree with the Sheriff's men! :D
But be wary, and never be too kind of heart.................................................................... "kind at heart" could be a reference to Marian (remember the "heart puzzle"?) :) This ties into the Ancient Oak because the you are earlier "kind at heart" to the widow, who is Marian's predecessor, and who helps you with Druid Tree knowledge, which helps you with the Ancient Oak! :D

There, I probably thought waaay too hard about this, and tied myself up in knots.

Yes to the camp, no to the road.
