There's not really much of a choice. I guess I'll pick #2, because it's a little bit brighter.

I mean there's a difference in the color outside of the image. Gold (?) and gray (?) are pretty different.

Well - the first one is greyish-black (grey at the top, black at the bottom). The second one isn't really gold - I'll make it bright-brown or mustard-y.

Having said that, in the second image, the top of the wizard's head is brighter and easier to see. So I'll go with that one.

#2. Again I like the parchment look.

I also like the second one (maybe because that's the coloring I have so I am used to it) - but the gold color just... rings more with a KING's Quest to me.
