Yes, Plunge your PC into a tub of hot water. all kidding aside, a clean install means installing into a new empty folder rather than reinstalling on top of an old installation. The idea is to not allow any corrupted files to end up in the new installation.

Just uninstalled it. It hadn't kept my savegames last time, but since I was replaying it anyway that didn't matter to me. Now it again hasn't kept my savegames - I had one at various chapter starts and was already about to end day 2. The new folder on the desktop only contains the readme.txt.

I got chucked out while reaching the end of Day 2, 12PM to 2 PM (when they find the bodies). I downloaded the latest RAD Video Tools, to find that they can't play the older BINK files anymore. Chucked the stuff and got past the hiccup.

Thanks for the tip Collector! The clean install did the trick!

I'll have to look to see if there is something wrong with the uninstaller's function to save the games.

Just checked the script. There was a problem caused when I added support for the Spanish version. I had an if else statement for the bilingual uninstaller that had changed the name of the destination folder on the desktop. In English it was GK3SaveGames with the readme while the save games were going into a second folder on the desktop simply named GK3. Look for a GK3 folder on your desktop.

I have corrected it, but want to wait until I have time to test it before uploading the new version.

There's no GK3 folder on the desktop.

I'm closing in on 100 hours in Bloodborne and I'm loving it. I'm also in the middle of Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu on my Switch while my girlfriend uses the TV for Spyro.

I'm still playing CivCity: Rome on GOG and liking it. I also got Grim Fandango, Empire Earth 2, and Neverwinter Nights 2 to plow through.

Finished GK3 and relished re-playing it!

I am in a lull. I have plenty of games to play - but nothing's currently appealing.

So ... last night, having finished watching the latest episode of Seal Team (great show BTW) that was on the DVR... I flipped through the channels and landed on WWE Smackdown. I chuckled, because I don't recognize a single wrestler from eons ago when I would casually watch it - but this made me think of the N64 Game "Wrestlemania 2000" and "WWE No Mercy" - which were fun games - mostly because you could create a character (quite a few) and HIGHLY customize the looks, moves, entrance, the works. So last night I jumped into my garage and pulled out the N64 and checked - and sure enough - the game still worked. And I'll be damned if it isn't still a fun game too!

The Rematch fight has my favorite ending - as both myself and my partner pulled off finishers to end the match.

I am still playing pathfinder: Kingmaker every now and then. Although I have been strongly recommended to play the first fallout game. Not much time to play games at the moment though.

How is that game? Was going to get it on GoG on Cyber Monday - but the reviews on the site mention that the game's heavily unbalanced - and in some regards "broken" because of it.
