1. The movie (and the original source material) takes place in the future.

2. The protagonist is a man who lives and works in a VERY LARGE city.

3. The protagonist belongs to a vital paramilitary organization, without which, the city he lives in would descend into chaos.

The lead actor's first starring role was in an obscure soft-core p0rn movie before becoming a successful mainstream actor.

Oh and before anyone asks, yes, Stallone was in a soft-core p0rn movie. The title was The Party at Kitty and Stud's. After Rocky became a hit movie, the title was changed to The Italian Stallion.

I know this. I know the actor in the foreground. Why is this movie escaping me? It's not The Thing, wrong genre. Arrrgh.

I love that movie, but I always think of it as a horror movie - despite the fact that it's categorized with my other sci-movies
