I remember an RPG, where I had to fight orcs... and I was looking for a powerful weapon to help end the war.
Since you never clarified, how about telling us if this RPG is a board game (which included PnP), a computer game, or a console game?

Ugh! It is a computer game.

Tawm, I think you missed my question. :) So ... is it one of the Warhammer games?

(I don't know the "Warhammer" games at all, except that they involve orcs and war) ;)

It is not.

I remember a computer game where you travel across the United States and try to survive against the environment and hostile forces while managing finite resources.

Is it OREGON TRAIL?

(That one seems too obvious of an answer... so I suspect it's a red herring) :D

No, it's not Oregon Trail (and you're right, the misdirection was intentional), but it's similar in its basic premise.

Heh, figured as much. So... are there zombies in this trek across the US?

No, it's not Gold Rush. The game I'm thinking of is NOT an adventure game.

Yes, there are zombies, and it sounds like you know what it is now. :)

Actually, I am not 100% certain. But when Oregon Trail became the red herring, I thought "Zombies" were a part of the survival.

Now that said, I do know there's a game called ORGAN TRAIL, which works like Oregon Trail, but had zombies.

So I am going there for my next guess. :)

I remember a computer game where "dragon" was somewhere in the title... and there's a character named "Hawk"-something.

The obvious answer is Dragon Age 2, but that seems too easy...
