I am pretty convinced either the owner of Creme Puff or whatever has:

1. A Ton of Friends.
2. A Ton of Family.
3. Cheating.
4. All of the above.



Not only have I posted this on an assortment of forums (here, here, here, and of course here - just as a FEW examples!), as well as seeing folks post it on Twitter (here, here, and of course here) and even Kathleen, who is a cast member with a huge following on RedvsBlue made a journal about it - and that's not to say of me posting it on my Facebook, plus my three MySpace accounts, and yet - despite all of this pushing this as hard as I can - that damn "Cream Puff" dog is now over 100 votes ahead of Odin - there's SOMETHING seriously wrong! And I think I finally figured out how they're doing it!

Case and point. Google Creme Puff who is 100 votes ahead...

Creme Puff Googled.

Odin Googled = Odin Googled!

As an experiment I googled the URL to the pictures - to see if the person for Creme Puff is posting somewhere. Then I googled the URL for Odin. Creme Puff, as you can see - has one hit - the link to the photo. Odin has three pages worth of hits!

As for the cheating - if they are - I think I figured it out.

So basically - they have THISWEBSITE.COM (for example obviously) - and they have it so any INVALID email address send with the domain of THISWEBSITE.COM to forward to ONE valid email address. And thus the links for all these "unique" email addresses dump into one inbox.

So - now - if any of you want - by ALL MEANS - please create ANY email address you want when you register as a NEW register - as long as it ends with: @PIRATEBOOTY.NET (I own the site)

So you can make Donna.Troy@piratebooty.net, BobIsAwesome@piratebooty.net - just as long as the email address ends with @PIRATEBOOTY.NET - It will come to me and I will be able to vote using that email address. I think what they're doing is auto forwarding from a domain they have.

Wessie took the lead by like 100 now... Wessie who was like in 4th ... suddenly got 600 votes.

Odin took third place. Thank you to those who voted either once or as many times as you could! Thank you to those who retweeted, reposted, or otherwise helped Odin! It was a pretty epic battle all the way to the end.

Where did that Cream Puff dog place?

Looks like Cream Puff took fourth place. Kind of surprising - I half expected that one to get disqualified for stuffing the ballot box with their own votes.

Odin was much cuter than the two who ranked over him. I guess some people really find a "dog with a side order of fries" appealing.

Anyway... I didn't vote. Not because I didn't want to, but I got distracted and forgot. Fortunately, Maia voted twice (at least I think she did) and we could consider one of those votes mine.

4th place. Amazingly. Since it was jumping by votes RAPIDLY - then the last two days - stopped. My guess, they went on vacation.

The two who took first and second may have been worse at the vote stuffing! I did my fair share. But I noticed the polls (strangely) reopened for the next round of voting at 11pm, rather than 12am. So last night, I checked at 11pm and saw I could vote again. So there was an hour window to vote. And I was voting - and I'd swear for every three votes Odin got, the other two were suddenly getting about 20. It was amazing. It really became a race between first and second place at that point, because they were skyrocketing their votes all the way to the end.

Absolutely no worries at all! I never voted for a President - ever - until this most recent election. I can't really scold someone for not voting. (Especially for something as trivial as dog votes, rather than, you know, the leader of the United States)!

At least you got a gift card right?

I assume so - I am guessing it will be mailed to Amiee.
