Most everyone should be fine unless they hit SierraVault yesterday in it's last two hours or so of life - during which time the site would not load at all (it was redirecting to a virus website that displayed a white screen and no content). I caught the hack pretty quick since I was doing so much work transferring data between Vault and Gamers. All of the local Sierra files on my end were clean during my virus scan.

All the same it never hurts to scan. Much better safe than sorry.

Damn, was just going to check it out. I was getting confused when I kept ending up at SierraGamers. I thought maybe you two merged. I wanted to see if a new Police Quest back cover was up since my attempts at photoshopping my own hasn't been satisfactory.

SierraVault is being added to Sierra Gamers and Andy has been made webmaster of Ken's site. It looks like he has most of the PQ games up.

I have a Police Quest 1 AGI backcover I downloaded from Sierra Vault a year ago, but it had an ugly barcode sticker covering one of the screenshots on the box. I was hoping there was a new scan up. I scanned my own box, but it's too beat up. I'm currently attempting to photoshop the imperfections. Imperfections is an understatement, though. My box is so beat up and scratched, that I actually experimented with just remaking the box from scratch with fonts, solid colors, and my own PQ screenshots and just keeping the Jim Walls photo. But I couldn't find an exact match for the red letter heading font, so I've abandoned that idea for now. Was hoping I could finish it this week, so I could finally delete the 1200 DPI tiff files I scanned, and clear up a GB from my hard drive.

Here is mine. It is not perfect, but shouldn't take that much to fix the flaws

Heh. Never noticed that sticker before. I had no idea there was a screenshot under it.

Great scan Collector. With your permission I'll replace the Sierra Gamers version with it.

I've redirected SierraVault to Sierra Gamers. You could say we've merged in so much as I am going to upload everything that was on SierraVault to Ken's site. Two InterActions a week until they are all up and I'm working pretty hard at getting up all of the game material before that time. Being jobless has helped get a good start but I'm starting back part time work next week so bear with me.

I took the time to clean up my box scan. I thought it was beyond repair. It actually turned out better than I expected. Took forever to clean up, though. Not sure if the colors are accurate or not. I originally scanned it on an LCD monitor with bad color accuracy, and don't have the box with me to compare. The only thing I don't like is what I guess is a moire pattern in the bricks in the second screenshot. Only way I know how to get rid of it is by blurring it, but I prefer sharpness. I've attached mine, which is 400 dpi, originally scanned at 1200 dpi. And I attached a preview of my original scan.
