I've got a 2001 BMW 330Ci. I got it back in 2001 when it was new. It's hard to believe it's 11 years old. I've only got a little over 30,000 miles on it, too.

It's funny -- I've actually had offers to buy it because the mileage is so low considering its age and condition. As Maia knows, I'm a bit obsessive about taking care of the car.

Here's an example: Maia and I had a little kitchen accident the other day that resulted in my left hand getting slashed. I was bleeding a lot and Maia thought I might need to go the hospital. My response? "No way, I might get blood in the car!"

Im the exact same way!!!! Except for keeping mileage down, we drive from Florida to Erie, PA once a year to see family so that is around 4K miles each trip.

I had a car that color years ago. I had 4 accidents in 3 years time. Going on the theory that the color was attracting every whacko on the road, I traded it in for a blue one. Three cars later, no accidents. Good luck!

DPX had the same response to Datadog's post last night. I don't think I've ever seen him laugh that hard. His entire face turned red.
