How is that any different from POS? They'll want to sell it for profit with Activision as the publisher. Jane's company could do the same thing.
POS doesn't sell their King's Quest. What if their plan is the same with GK? Or have I misread somewhere, where they mention selling GK?

Well, if POS is doing this as a fan-made game, there's no way in hell I'll touch it. It'll turn out just as bad as TSL.

The first episode of TSL wasn't that bad, save for some voice acting. (I haven't played anything beyond that first episode... which is why I hate episodic games, because I forget to download them).

You're entitled to your opinion. I differ.

I'm not sure if even Jane can salvage a treatment by POS. If they think that KQ fans are picky, just wait until they face GK fans that place story and puzzles far and above the anything else. These fans will place that bar very high. Additionally, the callous disregard toward fan input does not bode well. A commercial venture is far different than a for free fan game. As noted, it will not be a GK game nor sell well unless Jane Jensen heads it. I cannot see Cesar taking to being dictated by anyone. And how can they afford Jane for the duration of the entire development cycle? If it is true about POS, it is a very, very bad choice.

Jumping the gun much? Check the link again - the project's already been debunked as a fake. As far as we know, there isn't any new GK in the works, and if there is, POS definitely isn't working on it.

To be fair, I don't think anyone was jumping the gun. It was posted, and alluded to. I hadn't visited the link after I initially saw it. Which at the time, wasn't already debunked.
Buzzkill.
I was hoping that they'd use Odin as the GK Wolf.

As Tawmis said, considering the picture, the source and all the hints and nudges, people were not jumping the gun. Eriq removed the picture from his FB profile in the mean while. He shouldn't have put it on in the first place. Bad move.

The Beast Within: The Movie
starring Odin!
I'd watch it!

I bet I could get Jane to write it! (Odin would love her... since she's female!)

I would agree, it was a crap move.
Would have been better - and far more accepted - had it been posted on April 1st. Then I'd only have myself to blame for falling for it.

Damn, I could've guessed. Well Tawm: around here many people start making their April Fool's jokes by February to prevent people from figuring out it's a prank.
Oh well, back to writing fanfic.
