im going to have to go with Police quest 3 because that game needs some love( my actual fav is probably Space Quest 3 but i have many many fond memories of playing police quest 3 when i was a kid)

PQ3 was awesome, because it felt very real to me. King's Quest 3 all the way. One of the best Sierra games in general. Space Quest 3 was good but way too short and easy. I won that game in a day.

Late again to the party, I see. 
This one's a really tough choice since I've never really nailed a third favorite out of any Sierra series before. These are all great games, but by process of nit-pickiness
PQ3?: Nice story, but fighting some nameless drug dealers is like a step back from PQ2, so...
KQ3?: Outside the wizard puzzle, it's pretty much just a long hike, and the wizard puzzle isn't so much fun as it is stressful, so...
SQ3?: Best music of the bunch and a good strong change for the series, but it's still pretty short and aimless, so...
I'm voting LSL3!
On the whole, it's a fun game, has a nice variety of puzzles and side-quests, the best music of the series, lots of scenic locations, and you get to play as both genders. It also has one of my favorite game endings.
