AS far removed from KQ's norm as MOE was I still enjoyed it. But I also enjoy those kinds of games. And I consider it greater than KQ7. I can't stand that game.

I do. But not in its current form. Some time ago during development of the game I had a hard drive format mishap and lost all my source files. So I'm doing them all over again with the much more improved sound library I have now and call it the KQ3 Redux OST Special Edition.

No I love KQ5. Best King's Quest ever. Never minded Cedric. I can see why he bothers others, though.

"Behold. I shall conquer and destroy the foul evil that hast covered this land in darkness. Nothing shall stop me in my noble quest, even if the evil shoots at me, I shall dodge the arrows, fireballs, lightnings strikes and evil spells with my mighty, yet non-existing, strafe supremacy, and with my even mightier shield that looks oh so fancy but doesn't block #&*§. And if that does not work, I shall talk them to death (works every time).AndreaDraco wrote:*Aim and shoots*

Nope. It was good and moving. But KQ5 wins out for me. It feels more like a King's Quest. No that KQ6 doesn't, but KQ5 is like classic King's Quest. Journeying across the land in exploration, you play as Graham himself, lots of different locales, etc. KQ6 is like King's Quest evolved. It's still good, but it's not classic. It's a lot less about exploring and more about story. Which is fine. There's just not as many varying locales. They mostly look the same. It's all very beautiful, but KQ5 still wins out because of the...er.........just that one 'magical' element. Can't describe it. I prefer the music, the art style, characters, most everything.Tawmis wrote:You're not one of the flock who hails KQVI as the greatest ever?

Now we have 2 things in common KQ5 was always my favorite point & click adventure until i played AGD's KQ2. There's something about it that i can't explain.Even the bad voice acting grew on me.MusicallyInspired wrote:Nope. It was good and moving. But KQ5 wins out for me. It feels more like a King's Quest. About KQ8 i'm still praying that AGD makes a point & click remake of it sometime in the future, since it was one of the highest voted in one of their "future remake" polls.
