I just remembered the correct name. It's typing of the dead. Type or die does sound a lot better though. It's basically The house of the dead 2 but instead you have to type instead of shoot making it a lot harder.
Sounds pretty funny still... :D

That's actually a good (and hilarious) concept. Puting the player under pressure while learning at the same time. :D

I let in more search on what demo links work. Mixed up mother goose, Freddy Pharkas win demo and space quest 5 links do nt work. I will be checking on whether the links of all the patches work next.

Great. Saves me some searches!

Glad to be of service. BTW, all the ones in red are ones that I don't have that I would like to find demos of, if they exist.

Hi! I'm a collector, too, and would like to contribute the following demos to your excellent site: Conquests of Camelot, Hero's Quest I, Leisure Suit Larry II, Police Quest II, Quest for Glory II, Space Quest III [Version 1.0A], Twisty History [Version .001] (Pepper's Adventures in Time, the archive of which seems to be broken here). Where do I send them?

Also, could someone who has them create proper CD images (not just rips) of all the available Sierra demo discs, and share them with the rest of us? Some of the demos already uploaded here were taken from "SIERRA FAMILY DEMONSTRATION CD-ROM VERSION 2.0", for instance. I'm really interested in studying every file and folder on these discs.

Welcome to the forums. What is the largest size of what you have? I can temporarily increase the allowable size limit of attachments for the forums. I don't have the demo CDs. One of the SHP members might have them.

Well, if someone should be able to upload the CD(s) – to a file-hosting site, if necessary – that would be splendid. I managed to upload all of the above-mentioned ones just fine, and I also found and added The Colonel's Bequest. The attachment contains original self-extracting archives from the Sierra BBS; shouldn't have any viruses.

Thanks, I'll try to get them upload before too long.
