Does the installers remove copy protection?

Why not just copy the files from Windows 7 to Windows 8 (via Shared Network path, or USB key, considering how small the game files are)

ok I got it now, looks like on my machine, I enabled show hidden files (Windows 8) and nothing became unhidden, rebooted and I now see all the files.

Weird, but heck it worked ^-^

Also I just went back again and checked the, the files aren't even marked as hidden... weird why they didn't show up before...

I can't say about Win8. I'll not be getting it anytime soon, if at all. The purpose of those scripts is to bypass the age questions, not the copy protection.
