We can do that after the unmasking.
Thank you for your coat, Mrs. White.

As Mrs. White has said... After the unMASQing... You can reveal what was incorrectly guessed. For now, it's better to not reveal the truth if incorrectly guessed. This keeps your... MASQ'ed identity more difficult to guess... so that more clues are needed. Naturally, if they guess correctly, you must tell the truth. But the idea is, if they guessed incorrectly - now the clue is - it's one of your other two statements. They must assemble all these clues when the time comes around to guess before the unMASQing. Telling them, if they guessed incorrectly, which is the actual truth - makes the guessing too easy. Otherwise, it would be one truth, one lie as a game.

Oh, you're going to regret this, Wadsworth, some day when we're alone together...

You are correct Malcolm, I've played this game before and am missing the poetry corner. Did you go to Germany perchance?

I'm getting confused of who's to guess. Should we wait to see if that person says correct or incorrect before telling our own three if we don't know if we're right or wrong?

The original post answers your question, beautiful Native American. (I do believe that's the proper term these days, is it not?)

So you would now try to guess Mrs White's ...

Er... My Native American Friend (I do so hope scalping is no longer a thing - dreadfully messy busy, that) - but remember - when you guess, you must also then provide 2 lies and one truth about yourself.
