I dropped out of Gotham when they killed... uh, was it Jeremy... who seemed to be the Joker... (I hear he's back though). Just never cared enough to pick it back up.
Jerome. And he's dead again, sort of. It gets even more convoluted. It's not really worth picking back up at this point.
How can anyone be "sort of" dead?
I'm confused.
Surely, a person or a character is either alive or dead - there's no in-between. (Unless you happen to be undead, of course).
He was brought back to life, which kind of happens a lot in Gotham. Near the end of this last season he was killed again, but not before we learn that he has... a brother! An identical twin brother! So technically a new character but the same actor who assumes the role of maybe-Joker.

Lawrd...
That sounds like
an episode of General Hospital... Bob was shot down... but Jon... his twin brother, who took over Bob's life, and stayed with Bob's wife... but it turns out! Bob's wife is actually a distant cousin of them! But if that wasn't a twist enough! Bob's wife's parents were killed in a car accident and cloned! So she doesn't know if she's the daughter of her parents or their clones! Find out in next week's episode... when Bob's wife reveals - she's pregnant!

Oh? So he was
the undead Joker before
he was killed again?
So if he comes back, does that make him
an undead-undead Joker?

*LOL* Tawm, you beat me to it. It sounds so much like
daytime soap opera, it's not even funny.
The Young and The Restless... The Bold and The Beautiful... The Bat and The Robin!
(Seriously, one of our local TV stations is replaying the 1960s episodes of "Batman and Robin". It's outrageously camp, but it's fun.)

Yeah, It's gotten pretty silly at times. When they killed him off (the first time) I liked how they implied that he may have been the inspiration for a yet unseen Joker, but it looks like they abandoned that idea.

He was the best thing about Gotham. I even enjoyed him more than the Penguin's stuff (in Season 1).
